• Canine Influenza: Both H3N8 and H3N2 are now considered endemic in dogs in the United States!
• Leptospirosis: Leptospirosis is a bacterial infection that can not only affect dogs and other animals but people as well. Intervention of this disease in the early stages is key and infected pets often require hospitalization, intravenous fluids and medications as a treatment. Now considered a “core” vaccine due to its prevalence and zoonotic nature, regular yearly vaccinations make this disease preventable.
