Spay/Neutering Rabbit Benefits
Much like dogs and cats, rabbits also benefit greatly with spay and neuters. At Village Vet, we recommend these procedures as they decrease the chances of uterine/ovarian cancer, testicular cancer and reduce aggression. These procedures can also improve litter box training!
Teeth Trims
Did you know a rabbit’s teeth grow throughout their entire life? Unfortunately, in some, this can cause a problem if the teeth are not aligned with one another causing some teeth to overgrow and if ignored unable to eat. Village Vet can help with this through careful teeth trims when needed.
Exotic Animal Husbandry
How we care for our Exotic or Non-Traditional Pets is called Husbandry. That includes the habitat we provide for them to live in, the food we feed, and how they socially interact. Improper husbandry by setting up your new friend can cause many health problems or something worse. Habitats not only provide a safe space to thrive but also enrichment for a happy long life. Lighting, humidity levels, temperature and diet are key to improving quality of life and longevity.
